In 2020 Amy & Dean Arvin had a common goal: find a place that made the best sandwich with the best ingredients. After months of eating what Amy calls a Jam Sandwich (two pieces of bread jammed together with few ingredients) and being left hungry one too many times, they decided that the world needed a GREAT freaking sandwich. And thus, ‘Wich Doctor was born.
Calling upon their years of restaurant industry experience, the pair opened the first ‘Wich Doctor Sandwich Shop in Florence, Kentucky. They began serving delicious fare designed to satisfy even the heartiest appetite.
‘Wich Doctor’s customers quickly realized this wasn’t just your average sandwich shop. The mouthwatering menu includes handcrafted sandwiches served on toasted artisanal bread, Creole-inspired muffulettas, Cubanos, crisp salads, homestyle soups, and freshly baked sweets. The catering menu also features unique options such as grazing boxes designed to please a crowd.
From humble beginnings, ‘Wich Doctor Sandwich Shop has expanded to three successful locations in northern Kentucky. We’re excited to welcome motivated entrepreneurs to our brand through franchise offerings.
